Irony is now we have our long when will it end don'no kinda a vacation we are not liking it , we do want to go back to our regular life. I guess that's LIFE.        So how is everyone keeping up with their mental health and also physical health? It's been hard on me. Staying home for such a long time has not been easy on everyone. 4. Homelessness

In India, huge number of population is homeless because low wages and high rent. In metro cities like Mumbai or delhi. One bed room apartment rent is minimum 30k while a labor guy makes only 15k or less than that. On the top of that he has to pay all of his expenses. That is why lots of people live in the slum or on the road side. There are 20 people living in two bed room house. In small cities, you get salary 8k and you can rent a small room for 2k. It will be just empty room. No kitchen, shared bathroom and no ac/heat. Some rickshaw drivers sleep on the side of road to save some extra money since they have to send money back to their families. They are uneducated poor people who come to cities from small villages for work. They have no land or jobs in the village. They have no choice. They work at construction site and sleep there at night. They cook in the open space. They can only afford rice and lentils. Govt do not provide any housing schemes.

Factors contributing to homeless In India
  1. Lack of affordable housing.
  2. Changes in the industrial economy leading to unemployment.
  3. Inadequate income support.
  4. Physical or mental illness.
  5. Disability.
  6. Job loss.
